illuminate is an entrepreneurship workshop initiative by E-Cell IIT Bombay that aims to spark entrepreneurial spirit and build business acumen through business models, finance and core startup principles. The workshop combines speaker sessions, case-study style learning, hands-on Business Model Canvas work and pitching practice.

What you'll experience.

The session topics and durations below are based on the illuminate workshop structure provided by E-Cell IIT Bombay.

Understanding fundamental aspects of entrepreneurship and its importance in today's world.

Team Formation

Organizing participants into teams to facilitate effective engagement and collaboration during future tasks.

Idea Generation & Problem Identification

30 Minutes

Group activity focused on brainstorming and identifying problems to stimulate creative thinking and collaborative problem-solving.

Session 05

Business Model Canvas (BMC) Workshop

60 Minutes

The speaker provides an overview of the key BMC components and guides participants to fill it for their chosen ideas.

Session 06

Finance for Entrepreneurs

60 Minutes

Understanding financial principles relevant to entrepreneurship, including financial viability and planning.

Session 07

Insights into Startup Development

30 Minutes

Learn how startups develop MVPs and POCs, create prototypes and validate ideas through iterative testing and refinement.

Session 08

Pitching Workshop & Q&A

30 Minutes

Present business ideas in groups and engage in Q&A to improve pitching skills and receive constructive feedback.
